In for a treat, Johnny!@Josh/AWE we are looking forward to selling these at www.JustBoltons.com!
I am sure I will be ordering one for my 2022 TRX!In for a treat, Johnny!![]()
Watching this one.. Very nice sound indeed. Wonder if it picks up any power?
Weeeeelllll really good sound needs a lot more than Headers. Headers also require tuning which breaking into the ECM is not something I will want to do. This is what a beast sounds like! This was the first start after the internal and external engine work was completed.Doubt it, just a catback. Just makes noise. You want power then long tubes!
Guess I just don't see the need for catbacks other than nice looking tailpipe these days, as most "nice" rides have mandrel bent pipes, stainless, and decent tone from the factory.
LOL that is a funny one! This is the car on the Dyno doing a tuning run.Internal engine work didnt require a re-calibration???
am i missing something...?
What are the numbers ??LOL that is a funny one! This is the car on the Dyno doing a tuning run.
701 HP and 689 TQ left quite a bit on the table to have a very flat TQ curve.....What are the numbers ??
How do these compare to borla attak option? Or are they pretty much the same in quality?
The finest exhaust suite for the RAM TRX is coming soon.
Dual 3" T304L stainless steel construction with a bespoke H-pipe, and AWE's patented drone-killing 180 Technology® make up a signature soundtrack that will cause any raptor to run.

I'd encourage you to take a listen to our systems on other 6.2L SC SRT offerings like the Hellcats and Track Hawks. What attracted me to working here was the time and care that AWE engineers take in the acoustic tailoring of the sound. Being a guitarist myself (with more guitars than skills), I appreciate the way we tune not only for power, but for tone and reduction of drone. Built right here in Pennsylvania with a Lifetime Warranty. Rock on.Ok, someone cut to the chase for me! I've been blessed to have sports cars that run and sound great - F-Type R, Shelby Cobra, NSX, corvettes ............. but I'm not mechanically inclined at all. I just know I like the deep rumbling of a V8 engine, especially supercharged with lots of h.p. - and now enter the TRX as my sports car truck!
This truck sounds good. But like others, I want more. My wife's Range Rover Sport Supercharged sounds just as loud or louder to me as the TRX. So what to do? I've seen mention of cutouts, straight-pipe, X pipe, H pipe, headers and all sorts of exhaust options - and I'm reading them and all sound good.
Is AWE the best? Sounds good. But someone posted on Borla coming into the mix. Sounds good. Magnaflow performance exhaust hits all the buttons? MBRP exhaust. Corsa. Flowmaster. On and on. To reiterate what Josh / AWE said "Having a rich, deep soundtrack without drone is what’s tricky". But that's what I want to accomplish.
Is any better than the other if rated? Is it just personal preference and all will sound good. Please chime in on your thoughts and help a car enthusiast like y'all (but without engine knowledge!) decide what route to take. Including if headers are needed as part of the overall process? Thanks.
Typically our Touring Edition produces a more refined note with no flow restrictions compared to a Borla ATAK. Our patented 180 Technology Resonator is a straight-through resonator and makes the same power as a straight pipe while refining tone and killing drone. No perforated core, no restrictions. Lifetime warranty and T304L stainless. Quality we stake our 30 year reputation on. Our Touring Systems are on Jeep Trackhawks and Challenger/Chargers making significant power with no issues - and no restriction. How do these compare to borla attak option? Or are they pretty much the same in quality?
Can you provide a specific link to listen to those? Or do I just search on the AWE site? Exhausts are a tricky thing especially just cat back systems. You kinda have to hear them in person. Youtube vids and peoples reviews help and are generally what you make a decision on. I really like to see independent same day dyno sheets but most manufacturers either game them or won’t provide (Generally. Not saying anything negative about awe. Have heard good things about their products).Ok, someone cut to the chase for me!
