Good day everyone.

Planning on getting the TRX from the US. However gasoline quality here in Kazakhstan is not very great.
This might be a dumb question, but I would like to ask if it is ok to put gasoline with octane rating 95. How the engine of TRX would react? Is it suitable for it?
Most of the vehicles here use 92, and it's also cheaper. But better be safe than sorry.

Thank you. Looking forward to your replies.

I can't speak to the "quality" but you won't hurt it putting 95 in, but also won't gain anything unless you tune for it.

100 UL Racing fuel. $9 a gallon locally though, so might get a tad expensive.
On a serious note though, I would put the best gas in you can buy. 91 or better. We only have 91 in AZ unfortunately.

how true is this though in a boosted application?
i put racing fuel in my hellcat when stock....and it certainly responded.

92-95 isnt that crazy, but octane increase is octane increase and if i had 95, it would be all i ran.

Do we know if Kazakhstan has the same Octane formula ratings?

All octane is, is resistance to knock, the way you get more power out of it is changing the timing, I'm not sure how doing nothing and adding higher octane, wether naturally aspirated or forced induction could help.
No clue about Kazakhstan lol.

91 is the highest we get here in the 405 of Oklahoma City. There is one VP Fuels station here locally that has a pump with 101 but it's way too expensive for a thirsty TRX IMHO. I do run it in a couple of my bikes tho. You'd think we'd have better octane premium (like TX, where lots of places have 93 premium) since pretty much our entire state economy is based on the dinosaur goo.
