@FULLTHROTTLERICK are you sure ? I can still customize my settings. It is weird on the big screen but the dash says it is in custom.

I can change a few things in "auto" mode but my dash will never say "custom" for longer than 2 seconds

Custom setting- everything in sport except steering set to street

Yea it doesnt work on ours. I cant change any of the settings within "custom" mode and i can tell it's not in sport trans/suspension/etc

That is some bs - and ram has no answer for this.? Pretty awful customer service @RamCares any updates on this Uconnect stuff?

Thanks for tagging us. The existing firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates that had previously been paused last year are the current updates that are restarting and launching back out to customers. The new FOTAs and AOTAs (app-over-the-air) are still moving through the validation processes, which as you might expect from the experience that caused the graphics (and other) issues requires enhanced scrutiny before launching to all of you.

As we've explained, the graphics issues, which does also include the HP inaccuracy, are going to be addressed via AOTA. However, we also know that there are complaints beyond that with the radio software, which are expected to be addressed specifically through FOTA, which will update to a new radio software version. This will be a U40.xx or higher number; as that is also tested and validated, the number may change.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to provide definitive timing on this because when packages are in testing and validation it can change at any time for any reason. As we learn more, we will share it. We're sorry we don't have better timing to share yet.

Mine wont stay in custom mode. I click custom, it stays on for 1.5s and then pops back to auto mode.

So the last 3 months, my fave drive mode is sport lol

Same here… awaiting the newest fix mentioned coming. Let’s see what it fixes and what else it breaks

There was a custom setup someone had posted about 1-2 years ago and i found it was the best setup for the truck, I had to reset the truck because of a check engine light( went into limp mode when hitting the speed limiter too hard) and I lost it and don't remember which were the settings but it gave you the best of all the modes in one.

FastMD, I do remember this. He also explained why/how each mode worked and how they worked together. If you find it please let me know. Thanks

Wondering what mode most prefer when just driving on street. I set mine on Sport Mode yesterday and liked it much better. While I haven't read the differences (tried to find a manual online and none seem to actually include TRX) the Sport Mode seemed to move shifts later and firmer. Maybe firmer...

Also, some of the guys had good options on combos. It's been negative-temps and snowing since I've bought my truck. So, it's only been Snow Mode and Auto (all Street w/ Baja Suspension) for me so far.

No , It was a "custom" mode someone posted on FB , and I think someone else mentioned it here, I've tried to remember it, but all the combos I've used do not feel like that one did

Funny. I took my truck in because my fuel pump failed. While I had it there I reluctantly had them do the update for the recall. After they flashed the ECU I started to have problems with the custom drive mode and the GUI. Modes work but the display doesn’t stay on the mode you’re in and I can’t configure my custom drive mode. I believe it’s because of the software update for the recall.
