For me, both factors enter into it, the total image

Its all the same truck, so its got to be background/angle/location/ETC

I get it, I don't disagree that the background absolutely helps and gets your attention, but I don't agree that everyone has the same truck. The majority yes, but some of these modified builds have 10s of thousands in paint, wraps, bumpers, lights, wheels, suspension, etc.. that really stand out. Thats just the exterior, we know nothing about performance and interior mods from these pics. The last two winners @JBTRXNJ & @DIABLOPOWER702 had extensive customizing on the exterior with paint, bumper changes, wheels and a ton of electrical and lighting upgrades. I'm just more curious what people gravitate to more. There's no right or wrong answer.

I vote for what I would envision being in a calendar or magazine for the given month. Seasonal background, and good framing and lighting are important. Mods are great, but they don’t magically make a poorly taken picture good.
