Vin # question

Anyone know why there are only 10 12 trucks starting with a 7 in the vin, I see most start with a 9 or a 6 but mine is a 7 just wondering why

I was given a VIN starting with a 7 back the beginning of February. You're not alone and supposedly my ship date is 3/3 based on my updated POC from dealer.

I ordered Feb 5th and haven't heard a word on when I get mine, just seemed like there weren't many starting with 7's maybe we are special HAHA

I only see two additions to the build tracker after 02/08/21 and both of them are 7 VIN's. Maybe it got changed after the merger with Stellantis?

I ordered Feb 6th and I got a 7 VIN as well. I was just given a ship date of 03/08. Fingers crossed!

how the fuck did you get a ship date already? I ordered the beginning of January and I'm still in D status

No idea. Looks like @SeanLynch735[/USER] ordered around the same time and has a ship date of 03/03......but the way things are going for everybody I will believe it when I see it

I actually picked up a dealer order that was placed Jan 8th. I got a VIN the beginning of February and than a ship date of 3/3. 1 month from a new order to shipping is crazy. You should definitely go play the power ball! lol

Just remember there are others that ordered in August and September that are still in D........ still no excuse the way FCA prioritizes the build sequence.

I agree on that one. All I can say for myself is the truck is a level 2 but I did not get any of the additional packages as the truck was already ordered. I plan on just adding items once the truck comes in/stock replenishes. Not sure if that helped speed up the process or what. People still having to wait from August/September blows my mind.
