VIN assigned

I am new to the forum, but have been following for some time. I just wanted to let everyone know, I ordered my TRX on August 18th. The dealership submitted it on the 24th. My brother works at the dealership. They were allocated 2. They are both taken. What I wanted to say to everyone, is that a lot of you ordered yours well after I did, but had VIN already. Maybe the fact that mine was finally assigned a VIN, means things are progressing. Just a thought. A lot of you seem to be connected and can get information that others can’t. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Certainly can’t say I’m connected, but seeing several people moving to D1 status with build dates over the next month or so. And have seen from supposed “connected” source that official customer builds start on Tuesday. Seems like things could be progressing... but I guess we won’t know for sure until we actually see build sheets and window stickers start showing up.
