Just a few pictures under the hood. Looks like the blower will come out without screwing with the cowl. The Aux switch wiring is right by the battery. Lower pulley can be accessed from the top.

Looks like there’s room for a cold air intake...

I'll bet it'll be tough to out flow the stock intake on this one. Maybe a different down tube would flow better Cold air intakes are never cold either, they usually pull hot air lol.

I agree. Not seeing any baffle chambers that can be removed to free up any restriction from the pics. The air is as cold as it can get being pulled from the hood and grille. Can't pull in anything lower for water boarding height. I think this will have to be some more passive drop in filters and call it a day..

I can see someone designing a new intake box that might flow a lil better. I'd love any chance I can get to get rid of that ungodly huge cover

The only problem with that thought is that is the biggest air intake in the industry right now. I can’t see putting a smaller canister cold air intake if you want better performance.

Filters and the down tube will probably bring the most gains. I'm sure the tube is designed to reduce noise from the blower.

This is the exact same engine on Hellcats for the last 6 years, the only moved the alternator higher and changed the tune. It doesn't require a huge intake, it just needs to be bigger in the TRX to get the same airflow with 2 restrictive filters to get all the offroad dirt the truck would see compared to a Challenger/Charger/Durango/Trackhawk

Still pretty efficient though if you factor in the intake, exhaust, AWD, and huge wheels only took 15 HP from the base hellcat. Or maybe it is a "hot" tune to make up for it

The HC started with 707 across the board, then went to 717 on the Challengers with the different intake (dual nostril hood).

I'm glad they kept it over 700, when the first models were being previewed it was "detuned" to 550 (or something).

Its weird to say, I wish the intake wasn't so damn huge - I want to see the engine when I pop the hood, not the huge plastic intake.

Yep, can’t wait to see more on the street to see how people apply the existing mods that are available for the 6.2.

I'm pretty sure they under rated it for the truck.
