Hi, just wondering if our Uconnect/infotainment systems have video playback capability?

I searched online, but I'll I get is; "unlock, pins, hacking through apple play, etc."
Can you connect a usb stick with video content and have it play?

i am curious about the same thing

I have read that if you jaikbreak your iPhone there are apps available which will allow screen mirroring.

With that said, it sounds like independent video playback isn't standard. With all of this tech available to us, you would think that video playback would standard with this system. C'mon, it's archaic technology in today's world. My 2006 OEM Bose navigation unit In my Silverado Played movies.

Oh, I completely agree. At the very least, it should be enabled for when the car is not moving.

Check out Navicks

You heard of anyone using this?
When I was googling yesterday, I came across a Ram forum with this exact Video. One of the users said that you had to pay a subscription Fee to use Naviks.

That's odd. Why would there be a subscription fee to a standalone box? I'll see what I find out when I reach out to them

I have no idea. I read something about $300 to purchase plus subscription. I didn't bother watching the video or reading any further once I read that. It wasn't the answer I was looking for.
