As we all knew EV would get boring quick, the TRX had to keep coming back to bring viewrship. Yeah they bring an EV to the competition but the Lightning is probably the lamest EV produced so far

and Sarasota has finally redeemed herself against Liam Thomas.

Would be nice to get a turbo TRX thrown in the mix...maybe a single and twin along with the Tyrant. That would put to sleep many questions

Times fluctuated quite a bit on their runs. I think a stock TRX versus the tyrant with 37s is going to come down to who is the better driver. And that’s really cool because most of us who want 37s don’t want to lose that speed so the tyrant kind of gives you the best of both worlds: the ability to run 37’s and still be just as fast as stock (if not a touch faster)

Right on point. Love the look of 37s but no damn way I'm giving up 0-60.
For $8k Tyrant package I would want every little advantage and would probably ditch the 37s although seems like a good option

The time difference between stock trx v tyrant was definitely exaggerated.

The time was 12.94 for stock v lightning but 13.30 for stock v tyrant. Definitely think the driver of the stock in stock v tyrant wasn't giving it the beans. A 0.2 second difference shouldn't be worth 8k USD.

I think the best time was 12.63. Still not worth it in my book for 0.3 seconds

So with a better track they would of gotten 11.84 @ 1320 ft? That's 0.8 difference. Which is the reported time during original testing. 🤔

The average Joe won't be racing at a drag strip with prepped surfaces.

Something is definitely not adding up!

I'm still surprised they aren't running an S&B intake on the Tyrant package, pulling in more air would definitely speed it up.

The main driver ran a better time in the stock TRX than the guy that raced him when he drove the Tyrant.

I assume the kid installing and tuning the Tyrant package made that call. If the tune was asking for more air I hope this kid would have done what you mentioned. Without seeing logs it's tough to know if an air intake would add anything.

Love what they are doing and the extra $10k for this package is a tremendous deal since you also get a tune and warranty.

Cost is probably a deterrent since its $700 extra. Im sure they could negotiate a bulk buy but still an extra $500 or so i’d imagine.

On the other hand, advertising 800hp with the S&B would probably attract more buyers simply due to hitting the big “8” lol so maybe they shoulda went that route…

So where do we get this S&B intake and what happens when we put it on after we buy the Tyrant? 800hp sounds really good

I have the S&B on my 21, supercharger whine is better, probably a little better on mpg but nothing too noticeable. HP increase is hard to notice but it’s there… adding 25hp to an already 700 is like drinking a Diet Coke with the Sizzler buffet! Only thing I don’t like about it is that you lose the Easter egg, whereas with others like the aFe you don’t.
