No they don't. They really don't. The rules are simple, and you agreed to them when you joined the forum. If you don't like the rules, or feel that you're above them, then I can give you a lifetime break from the forum. Clear enough? In case you've forgotten the rules, here's an excerpt about the political part:
- No politics in any part of the forum. This isn’t a complicated rule and it is one that we enforce aggressively. Don’t talk about politics, don’t refer to politics, no political memes, just don’t do it. There are others places you can have these conversations, they are called the entirety of the rest of the internet, but they will not be had here. We know this is hard for some of you to adhere to, or to even understand why this is so important to the ownership of this community. But that’s how it’s going to be. If you can’t help yourself, then staff will have to take action. If you see someone post political content please do not respond in kind. Alert the post to staff and they will take care of it. We can’t emphasize this enough, if you respond in kind action will be taken against you as well even if you’re the one that alerted the post. All of this is to say one more time: no politics of any kind on ram-trx.com.
In case there's confusion about what "politics" means, it is the subject of governance. That isn't limited to the president or congress. It's encompasses state and local leadership as well. I understand that discussions on auto theft will invariably touch the subject of law. But when it devolves into the inevitable whining and bitching about weak laws or law enforcement, then it needs to stop.
