Did RAM mention during the press release how many TRX trucks they plan to produce for 2020?

Not that I am officially aware, but given the investment they made in this truck I'm confident they will make one for every one who wants one. Last year (rolling 12 monrhs) the C8 had 18k deliveries, I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers were at or higher. There were no announcements of limited runs outside of the LE and there were even doors left open to other variants. I guess think charger/challenger hellcat.

I placed my order already and if we find out there are more variants down the road, such as a street racing style truck, I'll be a bit salty!

LOL from what I've read, I don't think you need to worry about that just yet, I read about leaving the door open (by the tactful way FCA responded) to variants without the Hellcat motor that might be more of a direct competitor to the Raptor. I think that depends on what the Raptor does and if they shove a V8 back into it or not.

Some point very soon it will have to compete with the electrical $%#@ coming out. 1000 HP Hummer right around the corner. My guess is in 2 years you will see the redeye version.

I have been wondering about this as well.
I would think there will likely be some limitations on how many they can build.
I am sure they had to have some sort of idea how many they have the capacity build, not only determined by plant production but component supplies.

ie. If they only have 10,000 availble engines to put in the trucks, there is only going to be 10,000 trucks.
I have no idea what their limits are , just that I bet there are some Production limitations .
why else would allocations be really low. I was told only 4 were allocated so far for my whole state.

I have deposit and my VON at this point but my dealer only had 1 of the 4 allocated for the state. Mine was their second order , so no allocation available for mine yet anyway. I ordered day 1 so I feel like my truck will eventually get allocated and built. But component limitation no doubt could be a factor.

Ram produced 633,000 truck last year 2019 (officially)

If half of those are TRX, since no other trim announced for 2021 .. then we are talking at least 25,000 per month or 75,000 i. 2020

This links indicates production capacity for ram still no reference for engine production capacity which i believe is the bottle neck.! Screenshot_20200823-234942.webp

An interesting article showing dodge FCA produced in five years between 2015 to 2019 (56,000s) hellcat engines !!

Thats is 11,000s per year ... !!

Which indicates that it will be a challenge and peak production for the hellcat engine assembly line ! Wish to see how they will overcome that
