TRX Launch

I'm glad I can hear some supercharger whine. Can't wait to get an intake to make it louder

Do you know what kind? I am interested but have no clue... thanks

Hopefully legmaker will have one just like with the hellcat

an aftermarket intake might not actually help any on the TRX with that "dual path air induction system" with the "largest air filter in any production vehicle".....From what I can tell from the videos and pictures it actually looks like the hood scoop is the path the air takes all the way to the back near the firewall where it goes down and then back up through the air filter and into the super charger (Ratis video at around 5 minutes you can see the 2 tubes in the bottom of the hood that look like they mate into the plastic housing behind the giant plastic cover) which would be a massive opening for an intake that could move an insane amount of air, where as with the challenger and charger it comes in through the tiny 1.5 inch hole in the fake headlight straight into the filterbox and just deleting that filter box increases the amount of air available. But there is also a TON of room in the engine compartment on the passenger side so maybe a company can make an even larger air box in that space to increase the amount of air volume going to the SC but it looks like it would have to be a pretty elaborate system....

Just allowing the air to take a more direct path to the SC will be more efficient and free up some HP. The air comes in at the bottom of the airbox, comes up thru the filter and then back down into the inlet for the SC.

So hopefully when some of the shops get a hold of these on the dyno and see what they can do and still keep dirt out of the intake.

thats a good screen shot, maybe your right and there is a way to just directly remove and replace that massive air box that will allow more power, but we need the tuners to get their hands on them to at a minimum remove that electronic governor and tweak the stock tune for some more airflow

Brad sharing all his knowledge again.
Yes air goes through the headlight on the challenger, only saying that is very misleading, not helpful. Air also goes through the hood scoop which is directed to the air filter, AND air is directed underneath to the air filter through the lower part of the grill where there would normally be a fog lamp on lower trim levels. Three paths for air.
Lastly, encouraging people to remove the airbox is pretty dumb and a good way to lose horsepower, that's what keeps hot air from the engine bay from going onto the engine.

Wow you really showed me! What a great argument! You seriously have no clue what your talking about on a wide variety of topics. Go ahead now, respond with "Troll" because its the only thing you know how to do.
