Does no one make chase lights or a chase light bar for our Rex unless we have the RamBar (or equivalent)?? Scoured the forum and google to no avail. Found a 3rd brake light kit but once you add decent lights to it the cost is like $1k+ and the only colors are clear and amber lighting. Maybe @DIABLOPOWER702 has the inside scoop on some since he's the light man lol!

I've been kind of wondering the same thing. The only thing I've seen is this, but once installed it's close to $1,100 if you pay somebody to do it.

Ya forget that! I may end up installing a whip light somehow for sub $150. Crazy that no one has chase lights out there considering the type of truck this is.

Anyone have TRX specific whip mounts?

Chase lights are universal fit for the most part. There’s several chase racks available to choose from and you can mount any one of the many chase lights available to. I thought about building one but there simply isn’t enough of a market for them so cost would be extremely high which would shrink the market even more…lol

Can you point me in the right direction to chase lights that dont require a ram bar or ram bar equivalent? Raptors seem to have many options without needing any ram bar equivalents

What do they bolt to on a Raptor without having some sort of chase rack?

some examples

Chase lights are different than rear facing pods or reverse lights. Here’s an example of what a typical chase light looks like.

Yup. For a regular chase light, the BD RTL is hard to beat. Sounds like he is just trying to give himself a better amber option rather than a traditional chase light setup.

If you intend to use chase lights as actual chase lights, they need to be up high. Chase lights mounted under the bumper will probably still get you rear-ended if you're in a scenario where you actually needed chase lights.

I guess we need clarification from @blaster9 …. Do you want chase lights, bed mounted rear facing pods or reverse lights?

I can set you up with any of the 3 options. 😎

For chase lights, how would you mount them without a rack or rambar?

I prefer and recommend a chase rack (not rambar) for anyone wanting a true chase light. There really isn’t any other way unless you want to drill the roof…. lol

haha that's what I figured but didn't know if you had some sort of magic otherwise. Something like this. Tire carrier with chase light mounts. Would ideally have the light sit above the tires so you have side visibility.

That’s a sweet setup and yes I agree the light should be mounted higher. Looks like that could easily be done with that rack.
