Is there any information on whether the TRX bed has the same dimensions as a regular 1500? There are a lot of after market items available for the 1500 such as toneau covers, headache racks and bed liners that I would like to research before the truck is delivered unless the TRX bed is a different size.

If you build the TRX on the Ram website, towards the bottom of the summary section it calls out standard features and you can click on that and it will give you the exact dimensions of the entire truck including the bed/box dimensions.

You can also build the any other new Ram 1500 (not classic) as well and compare and you’ll notice the box/bed sizes are the same, which makes sense so they can save money and reuse parts as they mass produce the TRX truck.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't thought to do that.

Yeah thanks for that tidbit... I wouldn’t have known that info was right there. Definitely will print that out and drool over my build. Haha

Ha... I've already printed it out several weeks ago and been drooling for quite some time. :)

So, to clarify, you are thinking a BedRug for a 2020 Ram 1500 should fit in the bed of a TRX? Wheel wells will be same size?

At this point I'm making a logical assumption as I have not been able to see or measure the TRX truck bed. Based on the truck bed measurements on Ram's website i'm thinking that the INSIDE of the truck bed for the all new Ram 1500's will all be the exact same (including TRX)

It is a short 5'7" box so you should be able to use Ram 1500 parts like a bed slide and Bed extenders are mostly universal

Which BedRug ? Because of the Cargo tie down system & bed lighting, looking at the XLT,,,opinions? Other options?

Personally I’d recommend a spray in. I’ve found that bed rugs can get smelly when exposed to a bunch of moisture, especially in an enclosed bed with a tonneau cover.
