Truck Stolen - IGLA Equipped (Orange County, CA)

Must have been the great reset!😆

With this math we might need to remind some folks not to write their IGLA code on a post it note on their dashboard.
Is that Million Man Math ? (aka take any number and multiply it x 2)

Since we're just adding pages now, here's something somewhat related.

After several months of trying to get the second remote and the card with the code for a dealer installed IGLA from out of state, it doesn't look like it'll happen.

What are the options now? Have a new IGLA installed, or hope that the code will never be needed?

Wrong. It’s 1848579292757747104983747747190494747.1
Hey, it worked for SCUBA JOE ...... Bag of ice on the blower and a couple of leaf blowers on the intake and he had 1404 HP! (702 x 2 = 1404)
Besides, I believe you are off by .00675

Shit, how did I miss THAT one !!!!!!!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Adding to the list.....
We need a link to each of these threads. so we can rank them ourselves.

I'm the idiot who changed his oil and forgot to tighten the skid plate bolts so they fell out. Thankfully the skid plate remained in place, so I don't think I make the hall of fame.

We do need a Hall of Fame.
I would have been proud to add you as Skid Plate Guy ! Cheers !

FINALLY, the problem is solved. The installer is sending the second fob and the card.

Or so he said. Much like in January. But he now claims he found them.

You cannot get a new card unless the card serial has been recorded by myself before sent to a dealer. If no recorded number and its lost you will need it replaced. As for the IGLA fobs I have them in stock. Who installed it originally?

Who…

It's someone installing them for a dealer in Texas, supposedly on all their cars.

I doubt they do it on all of them, but at least this particular Charger Hellcat came with an IGLA installed...unbeknownst to us, which made things interesting. Came with one fob and nothing else, and at the time we had no clue what the fob was for.

Anyway, this has been my girlfriend's battle, my involvement has only been to find the car itself, and then play detective trying to figure out what the fob was all about.

I could ask her what dealership and/or installer it is if you would like to know.

We have no dealership in texas pre installing them and if one of our dealers was doing it there then all the information would be given. We had a dealer working at a dealership years ago but hasn’t been there in probably 3 years.
Yes I need to know please.

Hmm. Then the plot thickens.

The salesman called it a kill switch when she asked what was going on with the car, but based on what we've learned since it should be an IGLA. The installer talked her through it and now she can use the fob, her phone, or push buttons in the car.

He has supposedly been quite nice, just not able to send the missing stuff, and his name is Mike if I understand it correctly.

Of course, it's a "new" '23 so it might have been a couple of years since he installed it, and supposedly he shows the customers how things work - which couldn't happen in this case since the car was transported. Combine that with an inept salesman and things went sideways.

I'll let you know when/if the stuff shows up.
