Truck Stolen - IGLA Equipped (Orange County, CA)

Are you getting a new IGLA system installed or just going to "chance" that they don't come back for it?
No need - just delete the paired fobs (procedure outlined in the manual), change the PIN to something 'better', and keep the second factory fob out of the truck.

They have the emergency pin change card….

Truck was just stolen right outside of my office building I work in every day. An eye witness with our property management group says they saw the truck leave the lot quickly 10-15 mins after I parked. According to two airtags, it was taken into a nearby parking garage where the airtags were ditched. Then 20 mins later it was seen on local city camera 10 miles away in Irvine near the fwy. No location since. Sirius XM is aware it's stolen and due to provide LE a location update when they get it.

The truck was IGLA equipped. I had a firearm inside truck as well that's been reported stolen. Working to pull security camera footage. Hope to recover the truck and f*** these thieves.
Question: Did you ever have success in 'tracking' the vehicle, or have you discovered where it may be?

So, still unsure? Unless the thieves* discovered his weak ass code and got through it that way?
Possibly. Too many unknowns and will probably be that way forever unfortunately.

If only he had started a thread on the subject. Then we'd know more.
Yeah with a subject line like this:
"Hey, I fucked up and left my RAM fob in the truck, truck unlocked and IGLA turned off....what could possibly go wrong?"

Admittedly, I did not read every post. So, not sure if this was talked about.
Curios if OP can get the USB/thumb drive back from law enforcement and send it to the IGLA folks for assessment.

Would make no difference. The usb would be for the uconnect and has nothing to do with the can bus or systems IGLA is on. You can remove the entire radio and components and IGLA will work 100%. No IGLA with radio removed you can start and drive away with no issues.

With this math we might need to remind some folks not to write their IGLA code on a post it note on their dashboard.

I don’t think the OP was inferring that the USB was plugged into the Uconnect (not sure), it could have been just lying about. I was making a general statement that it would be nice to get it back and see what is on the thumb drive. Curious minds.
