Truck Stolen - IGLA Equipped (Orange County, CA)

Truck was just stolen right outside of my office building I work in every day. An eye witness with our property management group says they saw the truck leave the lot quickly 10-15 mins after I parked. According to two airtags, it was taken into a nearby parking garage where the airtags were ditched. Then 20 mins later it was seen on local city camera 10 miles away in Irvine near the fwy. No location since. Sirius XM is aware it's stolen and due to provide LE a location update when they get it.

The truck was IGLA equipped. I had a firearm inside truck as well that's been reported stolen. Working to pull security camera footage. Hope to recover the truck and f*** these thieves.

It's possible they cased it. I don't use the fobs. I just enter the code. It's parked my personal spot every day. And a coworker parks his white TRX a few spots away. He's not in this week.

No Compustar or alarm. Yes all windows tinted 15%. No windows broken that I could tell. Irvine PD showed me a picture of it at Alton & Sand Canyon Hwy 30 mins after it was stolen and rear and passenger windows were intact.

No idea. I thought it couldn't be defeated.

No broken windows sounds like they relayed the fob signal. And then they must have known the PIN code if they stole it so quickly.

No matter how good your anti-theft is, it will only delay the inevitable in these urban shitholes where criminals run free and have no fear of getting caught. It will only get worse until the time we start putting these pricks in the ground.

I thought about the hidden camera too, but it is just a little too sophisticated for those low life to steal it that way. How do they know what kind of security device he has? To steal it that quick means they knew some personal info regarding this specific truck owner.
