Been covered in snow and cant get her home to really inspect for all the little issues everyone keeps finding. But I do have issues with the steering wheel trim. Is everyone’s like this? Looks like part is peeling because it’s raised as compared to the fabric. And the fact that there's a sharp edge to the plastic is frustrating. Just doesn't seem finished right. Is this how it should be? (sorry for the poor pictures, hard to capture the sharp edge/gap)

When in doubt 🔨🔨🔨

I feel like it should not have a sharp edge though....

It should have a sharp edge. CF is a very rigid material and this seems pretty characteristic - not the separating part but the edge lol

Do you have any experience with real carbon fiber?

Are you telling me you folks didn’t think the same thing on the thread title?
I'm not going to say it was my first thought, no

Also wasn't my last thought though

It was definitely my first thought but I’m special that way.

I’ve considered making an off topic thread about my adventures on tinder

I noticed the same thing on my steering wheel, it doesn't seem like the fitment is correct.
