You cant by a new car without it, its the law.I also got it. Not sure I'll use it as I'm comfortable backing up trailers of all sizes into all places : )
On the other hand I use to not understand why you need a backup camera as I was fine with it for 20 years, but now you will not catch me buying a car without it...
Yeah I noticed that too. Sounds like you have to break down the tires of your trailer and add the tire pressure monitor sensors that the TRX can register. Sounds like that’s the only way the TRX can monitor the tire pressure of your trailer tiresThis image from the online builder is misleading. This is what is shown for the "Trailer-Tow Group" and makes it look like the reverse steering is part of that option, but it isn't, and the brake-controller is already part of the TR2 kit as well but they don't discount the tow group if you have both selected. I still added this because I liked the idea of integrated TPMS for my trailers vs the standalone systems I use now.

Yeah, same for me... I didn’t add it either as I was trying to pick some thing where I could save cost. Also really didn’t want to break down the trailer tires to add the tire pressure monitors, wasn’t worth it for me.I didn't order it because I have been backing up trailers my whole life, and I bet I can do a better job than the computer LOL. Plus I was looking where to cut some costs...was a no brainer for me.
I was wonder about the TPMS...they just give you extra sensors to add to the trailer? Or on the valve stems like stand alone units?Yeah, same for me... I didn’t add it either as I was trying to pick some thing where I could save cost. Also really didn’t want to break down the trailer tires to add the tire pressure monitors, wasn’t worth it for me.
Totally cool optional for those that did get it
