Ive searched google all day, but can’t seem to find the answer. So maybe someone has experience here and can share their thoughts!

Just took delivery of a diamond black TRX and wondering what the best way to clean this monster! I do plan on hand washing, but here in the PNW, weather is unpredictable and during the winter month, it’s too cold to hand wash.

I’ve heard stories of spider webs in the paint caused by car washes and are more noticeable on a black car, so definitely trying to avoid that.

Odds are, you’re going to find it difficult to find a car wash wide enough for the wheel track on the TRX. My Raptor which was 6” wider than a standard F150 would barely make it through. 8” on the TRX seems like a stretch. And... NEVER GO THROUGH TOUCH WASHES, especially with black. It will show every brush/swirl Mark.

Stay away from all car washes. I don’t think the truck will fit in a touchless wash, they have pretty narrow openings here in Massachusetts. As far as regular washes go absolutely stay away. In the winter I am still able to hand wash my truck on days that are above freezing with a product called Worx hydro shot. It is a battery powered power washer. You basically use a 5 gallon bucket of water as your water source. It works great for washing your car in the winter. Go on Worx website or Google it. I also use a product called ONR when the truck isn’t too dirty. I was extremely nervous to try this type of product but it actually works well without scratching the vehicle. There are thousands of great reviews and videos on both products.
