It is. I had a 15 Silverado with the 5.3. Godawful engine. I’m really unbiased too all my engine swaps are GM and their aftermarket stuff is great.

Chevy trucks have been falling behind for years. Only Thing I use them for is for reliability on the job and even that they can’t get right anymore. I do love my C7 z06 vette however.
