Tim Kuniskis returns to Stellantis as Ram CEO! Mopar Jesus is back!!!!

If you believe or follow TK’s Garage on YouTube, Tim will bring back V8’s into ram trucks, will cancel the RHO and bring back the TRX. I wonder what he did in his 6 month retirement? lol

I’m so glad he is back!

If they bring back the V8 I bet they use the V6 as the new baseline and raise the price of the V8. That woudl be a smart move. If they replace the v6 with the v8, I feel bad for all the people that bought the v6 version.

Unless they bring out a redeye TRX I will stick with mine and just build it out from here.

The melted catalytic converters on brand new trucks with the I6 are pretty scary.

May the I6TT and RHO RIP. Horrible idea. A naturally-aspirated V8 <-> a real American truck.
 
What's happening with the CCs?
@OnTheReel Posted pics from the RHO forum showing melted cats in a RHO after a few hundred miles. Not clear to me what is causing it. Excess turbo boost levels? Unburnt fuel combusting in the exhaust system? Not sure.

He should do another run of 170`s maybe 3000 more that should get them down to MSRP ;)
Looks like they have been assembled by chimps, including cross threaded and incorrectly gapped spark plugs. Unreal on cars with in some cases $100K mark ups.

Definitely some kind of fueling / tuning issue. Same failures have also occurred on the Wagoneers. Rushed to production CAFE compliance engine using consumers as beta testers. They’ll get it right but I’d stay away for now.

Overall Tim really has his work cut out for him. The outgoing political climate and Stellantis leadership under Taveres has set their North American brands back a decade. They should have been working on a modernized Hemi alongside of (or instead of) this I6. Now they are kinda stuck.
 
Gonna have to see what Mr. Kuniskis can do to resurrect or replace the TRX..
Was just starting to look for a replacement for my '22 TRX, and it wasn't going to have a turbo 6. Never got used to the Raptor, and was down to a Shelby F-150 or PaxPower Sierra.

Why not mod the TRX motor and upgrade the suspension?

Have the engineers take a hard look at Chevys turbo 1064 hp 5.5L v8
 
Somehow I missed this thread. So I have to back it up a few days and ask…what’s up with the weird schlong protector? If I’m going into a battle that requires this kind of armor, you can bet mine will be tied back between my cheeks - not hanging out like a piñata
 
My two cents for Big Tim!
- Keep the RHO
- Bring back the standard Hellcat TRX
- Add a Hellcat Redeye to the TRX (at least 100hp more than the standard Hellcat TRX)
