Anyone else experience this ?

Quite a few people have, looks like the radiator is leaking where the aluminum and plastic crimp together

If it's still under the 3/36 I would think it would be covered under a warranty.

Don't these trucks have a 5 yr/60k mile factory power train warranty? If so, you should be good

Man you’re racking up the miles! Pretty sure radiator is not covered in the 5y/60k powertrain warranty. That would be something that falls under the 3y/36k.

Do you have a good relationship with your service adviser / dealer?
They might be able to push a warranty replacement, under "good will".
If not, the rad is about $400 for OEM.
Or go big with an alum unit, here is a post on that subject.

Sure am bud, it’s supposed to make it to NORRA next year but let’s see now

I do, I’m going to dealer in a little and see what they say, if not I guess I will decide to go OEM or with aftermarket.

You are correct. The radiator is covered under the 3yr/36k basic warranty. I was denied a warranty replacement after my basic ended two months before the leak started.

They told me I’m out of warranty hah, so it’s time for an aftermarket Radiator 🤙🏽

Best of luck to the people who have stock radiators. Nice to know you have spent all this fucking money on some cheap shit we have to upgrade to maintain.

That sucks. I figured the radiator was covered under powertrain

How is a radiator part of the power-train? To me, the power-train is the motor, trans, and front/rear differentials (and maybe the drive shaft)...

As it is part of the engine cooling system, directly connected to the engine. If the engine oil cooler failed, would that be covered under powertrain warranty?

My radiator was a 3 visit/Lemon Law duration battle to replace... and at the time was on national backorder <- mine was ultimately shipped from the Tier1 supplier to the MOPAR parts distribution center. Any status re: getting (OEM) one now?

Now it seems like a more common failure (our TRX was early 22' production). Without RamCares involvement I would have dumped the TRX solely from this issue and how it was handled for MONTHS.

Initial dealership in Arizona (Scottsdale/Airpark RAM) told me "all TRX smell like that!" (wasn't 'yet' visible - but an overwhelming coolant odor passenger/front/lower area of engine bay). On the second visit the Service Advisor stated in defense it was just a sweet smell - and would not acknowledge it was coolant. He didn't like my "well Richard, like fucking Girl Scout Cookies?!" reply. I digress, interesting TRX experience... 🦖

At 38k I started to smell coolant after parking the truck. I looked and didn’t see anything. The following week I had a nice size puddle in driveway. I knew they wouldn’t warranty it here in Vegas since only powertrain warranty is left. I wanted to try the aluminum one but didn’t want to wait for availability so ended up going OEM. I figured I can put the all aluminum one in at 70k when this on starts leaking again.
