Technical Service Bulletins

So does that mean that all uconnect5 trucks will get the s23.13 software OTA at some point?

My C.26 January 2022 build was great until about last week and it has started slowing and getting a little glitchy.

One day it was real bad, carplay wouldn’t work at all. The performance pages drive modes page was very sluggish.

It has been getting less sluggish and less issues day by day. But I’m still c.26 or what ever it is.

Yes…. In theory your TRX should get D and then S23 according the TSBs.

Same issue, seems a lot of folks on here have experienced it. There are a few threads on it, most say just grease the slip yoke and that should do the trick, also have heard potential for a software update. I planned on bringing it up with the dealer when I go in for an oil change…..no official bulletin/fix that I am aware of.
I had this issues and it has since gone away..Hopefully it’s gone for good!

On the image, it says "...provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete
the update."
What are the steps a customer must take to complete the update? My UConnect is complete shit and is SO frustrating with all of these glitches - same with my dealer throwing their hands up saying "sorry we can't help".
Thanks for the help.

Received an OTA software update this evening, as soon as I arrived home at 1930. I am now on S23.13 coming from S21C.6, which is what I had been on since taking delivery in Jan 22. It took the OTA update approx ~10mins from start to finish to complete the update. Out of paranoia, I remained in the vehicle with power on during the duration of the update. I couldn't take any chances lol.

I went from S21C.6 to S23.13 this evening. Also took delivery of my 22 TRX in Jan. OTA by the way. They are probably trickling out OTA updates for server reasons. Updating all vehicles at once could potentially cause hiccups in whatever server they are using.

How do you check your version and Is there a way to manually start the update?
I believe it’s “Vehicle -> Settings -> system information -> version information“

no manual way on our end but maybe a dealership can

Was just pulling in to the dealership to have the oil changed and the update popped upon the screen..... went from the B version all the way to to S23.13 it fixed a few issues I was having and didn't create any new ones that noticed

Anyone experience with S23.13 not being able to access the Settings page? Once pressed, it immediately toggles and goes back to the Media page.

If you haven't checked, I'd recommend you do.

Just got the update to S23.13 a few weeks ago. Was acting funky so did a Hard Reset ->"Sleep" Cycle -> Soft Reset and then most stuff started working. Settings page works for me now, but I don't know if it was working before my Reset process.

My truck was delivered with s21d.5 late last month. Was built the week of the ota rollout and late February and sat in shipping for 2 months. I guess I'm stuck with the old firmware for the time being. Dealer says that the system shows me up to date. I did show them the TSB and waiting to hear back.

S23.13 sucks. Mine glitches all day every day. My wife is like you paid how much for this truck and it does that all day?? Of course dealer was no help and couldn't get it to glitch for them. Said if it continue they'll get me a new radio.

Hello fellow “TRXer’s”. Has anyone seen or heard anything back from their dealer, RamCares, or Stellantis about the Driveline Clunk? I put mine in the shop in July, and they said NPF. I continued to pursue, and finally had service manager ride with me (November timeframe). We left to dealership and barely made it 1/4 mile before he felt the clunk, boom, and exclaimed “that’s what you originally reported!” It occurred many times back to the dealership. Now I can’t get a response other than the bulletin from Stellantis on August, saying engineers are working on identifying cause. Has anyone seen anything else? Is this an issue for 2022 trucks? Mine was built in March 2021. Thanks for any responses.
I have a 2022 the same issue. Its F*cking frustrating to have this all the time! The dealer has no clue and the engineers are lost. Pissed about spending over 100k and having issues with a new truck and worst of all no fix..

There is a whole thread on this issue which seems to be quite common. (mine does it as well) Although it seems Ram has not released a "fix" for this many have rectified this by regreasing the splines on the driveshaft. They say this resolves it at least for several thousand miles. Apparently there is actually a kit that Ram makes just for greasing the driveshaft splines.

I stopped by my dealer last week and told them about it and they knew right away what I was talking about. It goes in this week for them to address it. Search the threads on the driveline clunk as there is a lot of interesting info there. You are not alone 🙂
