Has anyone had any start up lag with their TRX? I’m at 92k on the dash, looking at replacing the battery and spark plugs just to be safe. When I go to start my truck after a quick trip to whether it’s the store or gas station, etc, the truck quite literally lags and WANTS to start and tries to turn over but takes a minute? The battery’s still reading 13.8v just wondering if anyone may have a few pointers in here in case!

The battery voltage might be good, but the amps might be low causing it not to crank or turn over slow. Could also be the starter. Does it only turn over slow after driving the truck, when the engine is still hot?
I had a 98 ram 1500 that when the engine and starter was still hot after driving, wouldn't crank the truck. Put in a new starter and that fixed it.

Heat soaked/hot start lag were common complaints few years back for hellcat engines. Do not recall the fix but could give you a place to search other forums in case they found the culprit.

If it's a 21 and you are on the original battery you are on borrowed time.....replace the battery and your problem is solved.

Happened to me, it was the starter! Don't waste time and money on battery, test the starter.
