I’m coming up on 35k miles and was thinking about getting the extended warranty, could share price they quoted? Thanks
Call your insurance agent and inquire about a warranty. Mine sold me an extended "Mechanical Protection" plan from Mercury Insurance for <$1,500 that covers me to 100K. Much less than a traditional "Extended Warranty" for thousands of dollars.

Because those trucks freakin rock and didn’t have stupid infotainment systems. If I could swap out u connect and screens for a tape deck/fm radio I’d do it in a heartbeat
I remember my dad having a 8track to cassette converter for his old ram.

The 12V Cummins is the engine that gave them the image of being bulletproof. They are completely mechanical with no electronics whatsoever. You can bumpstart it rollling it dawn a hill and dumping the clutch with no battery whatsoever. The 94-98 specifically with the P7100 injection pump is known to go 1,000,000 miles without an overhaul. (There are some out there with over 3,000,000 miles)If you keep it stock or close to stock the NV4500 trans holds up great behind them except for an issue with a nut on the OD gear coming loose, but that has been addressed in the truck I bought. Also being pre emissions this truck got 22 MPG on my trip home. Stock it makes 215 HP, guys mod them to over 1000 with stock bottom ends so as you can imagine they are pretty understressed at 200.

That said the drivetrain of the TRX doesn’t scare me, it’s the 900$ tail lights and 2000$ headlights that bother me. Along with the fact that at 35K miles in 2 1/2 years the console lid, steering wheel and drivers seat are already showing early stages of wear. I use my truck as a truck, and I expect that. I just felt it was a good time to jump ship especially considering I sold it for 92,400$ and I got for 88K out the door with the shell installed new from Granger.

I can't be the only one thinking this, but who in the hell would pay 92,400$ (sic) for a '22 Peasant Edition TRX with 35k miles? Nobody!

Mine is a ‘22 with 38k miles, and Carfax says it’s only worth $67,280. Of course, they’re not taking into account my awesome door insert. That adds at least $30k.

Now that you bring it up…. It does raise some questions.

Interesting, didn’t even know that was a possibility. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for the info.

Your opinion on the fit, quality and usefulness?
It fits very well, and looks great. This was an early version, and I gave some pointers for consideration. I think it's great...for people who put things in their door pockets. I'm not personally one of those people, so it just sits there empty. But I keep it there because it adds $30k to the resale value of my truck.

Can't argue with that! 😂 Thanks for the feedback on it.
