No experience with those issues, but IMO try another dealer (current dealer is shining you on).
Its NOT normal on a stock TRX, unless you are modded with 1000 WHP and the screeching you hear are your tires begging for mercy !

B2 clutch. They need to do an air test. Im taking mine in 2 weeks for this very issue

Hi Mike, Can you please keep me posted on what they find? I picked up my car today and the dealer said he observed once the transmission temperature reaches 60 degrees and above the thud is not there, i tested it a few times today over 60 degrees and it seems to shift good. Its very intermittent though it may do it every 4 or 5 times and thuds between 1st and second only. is that like yours?

haha appreciate your help mate, the screech almost sounds to me like the transfer case clutch might be slipping, definitely not tyre screech!

Sure

This is what I hear. Like a chair sliding across a wooden deck when shifting under load from 1st to 2nd gear. I can reliably make it Happen on right or left turns and sometimes from a dead stop punching it.

Hi Mike,

Mines a little different. I hear a screech intermittently when i take off pedal to the metal and a thud from 1st to 2nd at full throttle also. They did a relearn on my transmission and the thud seems to have resolved for now. FIngers crossed.

Did the dealership say anything about trans codes in the system?
On most modern transmissions, when the computer senses excessive slip.....it will boost the internal pressure (attempting to minimize damage) and the shifts will be very harsh / hard / banging.
