I heard from a source that should be reliable that the LE is the only one to have the 702HP. Has anyone got some sort of paperwork that proves the HP on the non LE to be 702?
I sure hope this is bad information. But when looking at powertrain options it really never says HP.

Bad info. All the motors are the 702hp motors. LE or not. Paperwork on the sale doesn't show HP, but it's been confirmed by FCA

That nasty ol’ rumor mill. No way that’s happening. Whole point of probably 85% of sales is to get the 702 hp.

I agree, Its funny that the one that said only the LE models will be 702hp is trying to sell an LE at 20k over..

All the badges on the Center arm rest no matter Launch Edition or not show 702 hp. Launch has red print on badge others have black print. No difference in Horsepower. The rumor you might be referring to is the Raptor is rumored to be putting the 5.2 500GT engine in a limited run of Raptors and the rest will receive HP in the 500-600 range.

That armrest badge is a very good point. No this guy was insisting that the non LE was only 575hp. He wasn’t just a salesman.

Then he is grossly misinformed and needs to have a better understanding of his product.

The 575 hp number is what the concept truck was boasting when it was unveiled at the Texas State Fair 4 years ago.

I just went back and watched the launch video for the TRX and its interesting that when they show the armrest badge for non LE its blank where the HP is but when they show the red badge in the LE it shows 702 hp I sure hope this isn't some fast one being pulled on us. Does anyone have some pictures that prove otherwise? I sure hope thats not the case.

Here is the ad on Ram website. Since the Launch Edition only comes in Anvil Grey this is clearly not that color. Hope it clears it up for you.

This is on the Ram website under Standard Features. 702hp I hope you can now rest assured your truck is coming with 702hp.
