Decided to not go with the flip open Bed Covers. I want to be able to put a Rack system on my back bed and I can't do that with a flip cover. As far as I see RetraxPro or Roll N Lock are my two best options if I want to put a rack system on the bed? Is there any brands I'm missing? Just want it to be water proof and capable of putting a rack system over it if needed? And does anyone recommend the Electric with Roll and Lock? Or is that just another thing that can break?

I went with the Retrax XR, thought about the motorized version but the standard one works great and is way quicker to install. If I need to put a sled or bike in the bed, the entire cover can be uninstalled in a few minutes.

I have the Retrax (not motorized). Pretty easy to install solo. I have Yakima attachment hardware and rails that fit perfect. Has held up even in off-road situations.

Thanks Guys, I like the fact that with them you can add the rack system. WolverineHuskey I don't see a lock on yours? Is that optional?

Just ordered the retrax powered model.

did the bedrug floor only.

thinking about the racks but I have a feeling I won’t use them and they will just sit in my garage

I just fit the Retrax. Had Roll-n-lock on my 2013 Ram. Retrax is newer so not sure it’s a fair comparison but overall Retrax better. Only negative is the cover box that it rolls into is deeper than the Roll-n-Lock

I got the Roll N Lock power. It has a smaller canister than the RETRAX. So far, I really like it. I also installed a bed slide but it eats up a bunch of space with the roll n lock closed. We’ll se how I like that part.

Would you be able to show me a picture of the top of Roll and Lock closer to the cab?

Ha brain fart.

I have the Pace Edwards - Leer ultra groove. No lock. A solid unit.
