Reported TRX Issues

Had to get two new two new front brake pads and rotors today. They had some hot spots on them. Only drive the truck 6,000 miles bought it used with 19,000 miles on. I don’t brake hard at all so yay 1st owner. Also had to get the drive shaft fixed as well. Thank god for recall that was open from other TRXs. Dealer tried and sell me a $200 air filter but yeah I didn’t do that.

Undersized brakes and driveshaft clunk are known issues on these trucks. Cheap and easy replacement parts for the OA truck you are getting, BTW the driveshaft clunk will be back. Get the S&B intake, the large filter flows better. Cheers !

I was looking at that intake I guess that’s the one I will be going with. Well got told there is another recall for the ABS with no known fix yet and got the letter in the mail as well. Haha who needs ABS anyways.

I throw all the recalls away.
If something is going on with my truck, it will tell me. Until then, I never go to the dealership.
EDIT: Another guy just posted about his trip to the dealership. He bought the truck a custom tune and the dealership mindlessly reflashed his ECM and now the truck will not start and he has no idea who installed the first tune. Dealership = sucks balls.
