Ravelco Saves The Day

I don't post much, I just troll what I need on this awesome site. I have to give a shout out to Ravelco. It was only a matter of time here in the she/it hole of Austin. Truck won't fit in my garage and it is parked outside(Took a little over a year). The first thing I did after I bought her was get the Ravelco installed on my way back from the dealership.
Anyway, familiar scenario, passenger rear door window broken into and the scumbags actually put the Ravelco plug cover on succeeding defeat. They didn't take anything from inside of the truck and it was quick. I was out of the country at the time, and kinda glad I was, my .300BLK would have been happy to save my life silently.
I received an alert from Ram about a power train malfunction and knew the truck was broken into. I do have a shock sensor on the truck as well, but had it turned way down, my bad.
Anyway, if you get this vehicle without having Ravelco or IGLA intsalled, you better have good insurance.

These theives need to be taken out but the Travis County DA is apparently a Soros affiliated DA who is a constitutional subversive. At least that is what I gather from listening to Alex Jones who is also in the Austin area.

There has been some stolen with Ravelco as an old PSA, might consider layering with the other big one after seeing how easy that plug is to bypass. Glad yours is ok. My insurance is up 24% for nothing I did.

Still have the truck and Benny Boyd Ram in Lampasas replaced the window. Great dealership and service department. Cost me $500, but I still have her. Gonna put in a small cell network connected camera.

All the cameras are going to give you is footage of the masked dirtbags driving your truck away when they come back and defeat your Ravelco. You would be better off spending the money on IGLA.

Be careful who you blame. The culprit may be yourselves.

Exit polls on the last two large elections showed that the 18-25 yr old votes were all that swung blue. That is high school and college aged kids.
Your teachers are the culprits, not the Cali transplants.

Manage your schools better and you won’t have the issues.

Umm, I talked a houston shop over the phone how to do it and they bypassed it for another shop owner and his friend (now ex ravelco installers) on FaceTime with them, 2 separate vehicles in 60 seconds. The first attempt on another one they made me a video showing it and how easy it is. Please don’t be that guy. You are lucky you had working keys still.

I’m glad you still have your truck but these must have been very inexperienced thieves. Do not trust Ravelco as any decent thieve can bypass in seconds. On top of that, Ravelco won’t acknowledge or provide any support once your truck is gone. I still have both my Ravelco pins and a video of my truck driving out of the parking lot. Ravelco is a pice of shit as are the people who run it.

Nope. It’s significantly more complex and it eliminates the ability to bypass the plug.

For anyone who has a Ravelco, they recommend the upgrade.

There is nothing they can do that will stop it from happening unless they removed the old one completely and put a whole new on in with actual electronics that mask the ground signal. That isn’t happening. When I get my hands on one I will make another video.
