DEAL Ram TRX Driveshaft Group Buy! East Coast Driveline (CLOSED)

Do you still have a clunk even with the rear installed?
I actually never had the clunk, I bought the driveshaft with only a few thousand miles on the truck. I never wanted to deal with the clunk is why I purchased it.

Q
RAM TRX FLANGE YOKE SWAP Instructions
1. Remove the Flanges from OEM Shaft
• Locate the retaining clips that hold the U-joint in place. These are usually located inside the yoke or on the U-joint caps.
• Use needle nose pliers to remove the retaining clips. Be careful, as they can sometimes be difficult to remove.
• If the U-joint is rusted or difficult to remove, use a hammer and a screwdriver or pry bar to gently tap the U-joint out of the yoke.

2. Press Out the U-Joint:
• Use a U-joint press or a C-clamp to press out the U-joint from the driveshaft flange yoke. Place the press on one side of the U-joint and press the cap out of the yoke. ***Be careful not to press the flange "ears" and bend them inwards. This will prevent you from being able to install onto new drive shaft properly.
• Once one cap is removed, repeat the process for the other side.

3. Clean the Flange Yokes:
• Clean the inside of the yoke to remove any debris, rust, or old grease. This will ensure a smooth fit for the new U-joint.

4. Install the Flanges onto the New Driveshaft U-Joints:
• Position the new U-joint in the flange yoke and insert the new bearing caps into the U-joint ends.
• Use the U-joint press or C-clamp to carefully press the new bearing caps into place. Make sure the caps are fully seated and the U-joint moves freely.
5. Install New Retaining Clips:
• Install the new retaining clips that came with the new U-joint. Ensure they are properly seated in the grooves of the bearing caps. If not properly seated in the grooves this will cause vibrations in the driveline. Make sure the u-joint is centered in the flange and caps in all the way.
I'm a visual learner lol, anyone have a good video of this?

They have a front shaft offering too??

I have two for you buddy.

Myself and another one for a local friend of mine with the same issue - John from Monterey Transmission (not on here)

Hopefully we get to 15!

Just updated!

3 more to 10 buyers, 8 more to 15! I know there are plenty of you out there complaining about the clunk. Save your time and frustration going back and forth with a dealer that will never actually fix the clunk and throw one of these on your truck. I’m excited to not have the clunk ever again and tighter overall feel!

How would everyone be comfortable on this? I was thinking of making a 1 time item and just limiting the quantity to the amount we have locked in and once everyone purchases it we will be good to go.

East coast driveline has already started building units to fill this.

I'm interested as well, but would like to know if this is something I could do myself first. Any videos of anyone who's done this floating around?
Oh, it definitely can be. If not, any local transmission or off-road shop can get this done for you so quickly, especially with a lift. That's what I'm doing at my friend's transmission shop.

I try to stay off the Facebook group because it ends up turning into a debate and I honestly do not have the man/will power to deal with that lol but I will give this a shot anyhow..for the people!
Anybody on Facebook in on this group buy?
