You gotta Love that!! Thanks for posting Knightmar!! You have to admit they have a point right now... we shall see if Ford has the balls to put the SC motor in the raptor bay or continue hugging the trees..

Rumor is they are going to put the shelby gt500 engine in a "limited number" of raptors for 2021 only

I can see it now.....2021 Ford Raptor Asteroid Edition with the GT500 engine. Honestly, being a ford guy, I would still get the TRX cause Ford poorly manages dealer price gouging on their performance line by not prioritizing sold orders over dealer stock and retail. Meaning any limited production run of a GT500 Raptor would easily be 20k-30k over sticker like the GT500s were/still are.

I'm thinking they might go the light weight route still and use the V6 from the Ford GT with a hybrid drive train.

Thats whats rumored for the regular production 2021 raptors a slightly more powerful vacuum than they currently have......I don't hate on any brand in particular but turbo charged 4 and 6 cylinder engines especially out of trucks just sound terrible to me....If they do do a limited number of SC V8s for 2021 only it will be simply be for publicity because they clearly didn't put any engineering into making sure the frame and suspension could handle the extra weight and power and if a single one of them actually saw any offroading i would be surprised because they are going to sell for 30-50 k above a sticker of around 100k would be my guess
