I saw the guys post on the FB page the other day about having the Ripa TT kit sucking up water and bricking his motor. Do you have any concern there? Or not if you are only really tracking the TRX now and not putzing around town in it in the rain.

just curious, because i want to take mine down the 1320, what tires are u using with the stock wheels, and where might i be able to buy them?

Lots of questions, hope I don’t miss any.

1).Stock engine, trans and complete drivetrain.

2). Bogart racing wheels (custom, 19 lbs each), Hoosier 325/45/18

3). I am going for the overall record next month at Rockingham Raceway - April 6-8

4). No issues with water so far, but I don’t drive it in the rain to be honest.

5). Barth has announced the Hellion turbo kit is open for orders and it has a much better design. Based on my experience and adjustments the Hellion will be 10 times better. Mine from Ripa was a mess before Tim Barth got his hands on it, still have adjustments to make if I decide to keep it.

I appreciate all the support and info that is here on the forum. I have used a lot of it in making decisions along the way. I will update when we hit the track again and see what happens.

The TRX is getting a wrap on it and cleaning up some battle scars from off-road racing at the moment, should have it back in a week or so.

Not the first time I've heard negative feedback regarding Ripa. Haven't anything but great things coming from Barth. Wrap looks sick.
