Purchasing and delivery timeline

For those of you eagerly awaiting your truck, I figured I'd share my own experience with how things unfolded (your results my vary):

Order placed: 22 Aug 2020
VIN assigned: 28 Oct 2020 (Dealership contacted me)
Build sheet showed up online: 06 Jan 2021 (tripleB found it)
Window sticker showed up online: 12 Jan 2021 (tripleB found it)
Truck arrived at the dealer and was ready for pickup: 20 Jan 2021 (Dealership contacted me)

I'll be curious to hear how this timeline compares to other that have gotten their TRX. Please share your dates in the same order as above and maybe we can get a running average. (It's possible some of you tech savvy types already have all this info compiled somewhere, and if that's the case can you post a link to a spreadsheet below?)

Solid idea. I've been wondering the same. We should have more refined analytics/data once more start getting delivered. Definitely contingent on delivery "zone" or area in the US/Canada. Maybe @tripleB or @KnightMare can assist with this project. I'm all for it!

I am already logging all dates for build sheets and for window stickers and those couple members that have posted taking delivery dates I have documented those as well. I also need to know location though for delivery date to mean much. At the moment the few delivery dates we have aren’t very meaningful because they don’t seem to indicate what would be expected, ie distance doesn’t necessarily increase time. Texas trucks shipped after and arrived before mine did in Arkansas.

Got my window sticker 1/17, and my Dealer is 18 miles from the plant in Sterling Heights, MI. I 'm curious how that factors in to arriving at the Dealer... could be good or could be bad?????

How do you find your window sticker? I’ve had a VIN since 9/11. Current order status is D. Does anyone know what this status even means?

That status means your truck is waiting to be scheduled for a build, basically. Next step would be D1, when a build date is set. Can't give you a credible answer when you would make that next step. You will not see a build sheet until your truck is actually built, and won't see a window sheet until your truck is invoiced to the dealer.
