PPF and the Hood with Graphics

Curious as to how your PPF installers handled PPFing the hood with the graphics. Seems like some small slivers of PPF between the graphics and the side intake bezels.

@soulsea had a picture where the installer went over the graphics. Didn’t know that was possible.

normally they want to pull them and replace as if you get gloss ppf it will make them glossier

My installer said they've had issues in the past bonding to the sticker. He just went tight to the sticker on the front. He went over the sticker on back rear.

I went with Xpel PPF and my installer did a great job on the graphics. They first applied regular Xpel over the graphics, but it didn't look right (made it glossy).

They ended up cutting out the graphics pieces for the main part of the body using regular Xpel and installing Xpel Stealth on top of the graphics and hood scoop to retain their matte color.
