Does it increase in frequency with RPMs while parked? While driving? Is it noticeable at cruise? Sorry for the 20 Qs. Can you pinpoint a general position on the truck where it’s coming from? IE front of the engine, back of the engine, centered under drivers door etc. shit like that.I just got her today and honestly haven’t gotten on it at all. 45 miles total
How the fuck did they not notice that when they were prepping it
From inside the cab you can’t really hear it at idle but when I push the gas it gets very noticeable. Standing outside the truck it’s very obvious too. It sounds like it’s coming from the engine bay towards the rear of the engine.Does it increase in frequency with RPMs while parked? While driving? Is it noticeable at cruise? Sorry for the 20 Qs. Is that serious?Sounds to me like lifters. But I'm no expert.

Does it go away if you shift into gear while your foot is on the break and you’re not moving? Again sorry. Also yes take it to the dealer anytime you’re not satisfied. From inside the cab you can’t really hear it at idle but when I push the gas it gets very noticeable. I’m not sure. I’ll let you know as soon as I get a diagnosis from the dealer tomorrowDoes it go away if you shift into gear while your foot is on the break and you’re not moving? Again sorry. Also yes take it to the dealer anytime you’re not satisfied.
At least you are having a sense of humor... That made me laugh out loud.... my wife said what’s so funny.......hahaBREAKING NEWS
A Philadelphia man was arrested today after a dealer tried giving him a Dodge Caravan as a loaner for his TRX![]()
Stupid shit like this always happens so I have developed a sense of humor so that I don’t murder people lolAt least you are having a sense of humor... That made me laugh out loud.... my wife said what’s so funny.......haha
Again, no expert, but it could mean that they are loose, or not enough lubrication. Could even be that a rod is bent or something in that system. The chattering there is something the dealer can certainly look at...but in my experience with my 2003 5.9 they had to crack the head gasket...wasn't lifters but rather a significant loss of compression, they xrayed the head and found bubbles in the cylinder wall.Is that serious?
Sounds good. It sounds like a bearing/converter related. It’s definitely rotational. It could go away on its own after a few hundred miles but it really shouldn’t do that new from the factory.I’m not sure. I’ll let you know as soon as I get a diagnosis from the dealer tomorrow
