Parking brake issue

Hey guys;
For the last few months every once in awhile(about 1-2 times a week) after I go through the process of inputing my IGLA code and starting the truck it'll set the parking brake for no reason. I've tried to disengage it and reengage while running but the parking brake won't release unless I turn the truck off and go through the procedure of starting it again then it goes away. I figured it might've been the cold temps and snow/ice during winter but it just did it to me again in 78° weather today. Could it be a faulty sensor by chance or maybe IGLA related? I'm not sure but it's getting annoying when I do everything right to start it then that happens and then I have to go through the process again of starting it just so it clears. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Sounds like just a bad code input. I've heard that the buttons aren't the greatest. Is your dash scrolling with whatever buttons your code is? Does your dash light up with errors at the same time as the park brake engages?

Enter the code at a slower pace, 1 button per 1 second, and do not press any other buttons before the code except for START, so volume, heating, etc. including.

No scrolling or errors but it will trigger the "Check the active dampening system..." message if I don't input the code correctly. I just find it weird. Guess i need to slow down on pushing the buttons and be more firm with them.

You're probably right. I do go pretty fast with it most times. I'll keep that mind.

This is exactly what happens when you have IGLA and push buttons too quickly.
