OUTTA WARRANTY!

Yeah, some of the common problems and annoyances they don't cover. But it still seems like a better route than most aftermarket options. Has anyone found a good company to deal with on an exclusionary policy? It seems like I mostly hear horror stories....

Thanks for sharing some great pictures and memories! Is your son trying to discover the Ampire start sequence? Gonna be good to have when he's a teenager.
He hasn’t cracked the code yet. But he’s pretty good with messing up my radio presets.

As far as extended warranty, it was tough for me to see value in Mopar Maxcare anymore since so much of my truck is modded and I really wouldn’t want a dealer working on it anyway. I know my motor and trans is healthy and I’m fine with self-insuring the rest. I have more confidence in this truck than just about anything I’ve ever owned.

I was thinking about the extended warranty but the dealers around here are so bad I almost can’t wait to get away from the pull of the warranty that would have me going to them.

The Big 3 have a real problem on their hands. They are making these high dollar vehicles but their service departments are garbage. GM may have something planned with the spinoff of the Corvette brand.

So a few of the exclusions that have burned some people (who didn't read the fine print):

18. Battery and cables; any battery for a component (doesn't affect the TRX, but anyone who has problems with the eTorque battery); spark plugs and wires; lights (bulb, sealed beams, lenses); suspension alignment; wheel balancing; wiper blades; catalytic converter (take note), particulate filter and any other exhaust system components; heat shields and exhaust hangers; throttle body cleaning; evaporator deodorizing; carbon cleaning; replacing outdated, lost, stolen, or damaged navigation DVDs;
19. Exterior - tires; trim; name plates; appliques; body sheet metal; glass; plastic lenses; paint; bright metal; bumpers; side-view mirrors (glass/ housing); wheel covers; steel wheels; aluminum wheels; rusted or frozen rims; weather strips; rust; water leaks (if you suffer from the common rear window leak, shark fin leak, etc., then you're on your own); restricted drain tubes; wind noises; all outer body panels; spoilers; plastic and fiberglass body parts; vinyl tops; convertible top fabric; repairs or damage caused by environmental factors such as acid rain, tree sap, salt or ocean spray;
21. Interior - trim; carpet; upholstery; dash pad (delaminating dash is your problem); door and window handles; knobs; buttons; moldings; arm rests and head liner; cargo cover; cosmetic appearance; torn/worn/soiled;
So leather isn't covered in the 3-year 36,000??? I feel like my driver seat ain't wearing right.

My post was in regard to the extended warranty. Unlike the factory bumper to bumper warranty, the extended warranty has a lot of exclusions.
