Order update

I can understand being frustrated by the randomness of the process, but like others have said production started in December and if you order a truck you know you're going to get it. The overall process is light years better than ordering a Ford.

I ordered an F-150 Platinum the day order banks opened for 2023s in Mid-July. I received a VIN and an estimated build week of 12/19 (the week my TRX ordered a month later was actually built) in mid-November, that date got pushed to the week of 1/2 in mid-December, and pushed again to we have no idea because of supply chain issues on 1/12.

I ordered my wife a Navigator the day that order bank opened in June and still don't even have a VIN or initial estimated build date.

Oh I was 100% expecting a wait. My problem is that people that order 30 days after someone else get their stuff scheduled and built before the other person. All good though, I already canceled this morning and won't lose any sleep over it.

Some people just hate The Chicken™ until they realize... The Chicken™ don't care.

Dude knew he was in for a wait. It’s like pretty much every order doesn’t go in sequence. I ordered in august of 22 and seen people that ordered in October get there’s built. Infuriating? Yes. But like others have said it’s worth the wait.

Building out of sequence is nothing new, same thing happened last year and is the most frustrating part of the process. It just is what it is, but so worth the wait. Like someone said earlier, you will get your truck (eventually) unless you cancel. Stay strong

Don't take this as an attack on you because it is definitely not! This honestly pisses me off. I ordered 19 Sep (a full month before OP) and nothing. Not scheduled, no changes whatsoever. Just got off the phone with the dealer and canceled and they are doing the refund as I'm typing this. Just shitty the way Ram builds their stuff. I'll spend my $100k on something better.

Your weakness showed lol. Just think, if there was no Ram Tracker website or forum to keep us updated you would still have your order in. These build inconsistencies
probably have been going on for years and no one had any idea. Anyway, I had the same thoughts after I waited 5 months for my 22 to arrive in July only to discover a paint blemish smack dab in the middle of the driver’s door. Fast forward, I declined delivery and waited to order a 23 model and here I am with a production date of 1/26. Got to have patience man.

congrats!! Mine just got to the next step the same day as yours . Finally because my order was confirmed September 10 and now I’m finally on scheduled

I remember early last year before I fell in love with the TRX I had placed a deposit for a C8 Z51 with a top volume dealer and they told me it would be 12-14 months just to place an order and then an additional wait once the order was accepted and built. That made sense for me to cancel and get a refund. I don’t mind the wait for the TRX at least I was able to actually order it and it will come sometime this year haha

my thoughts exactly, 8/19 order date here... been sitting at rail yard for 2 weeks. The only thing I am angry about is the amount of money I am spending on accessories waiting for it to arrive.

I feel the same pain. Ordered a granite Level 2 on Sep 20th. Vin in the 503s and still nothing.
I thought if Id be checking 30 times a day it would make it move faster but I guess nope. No so Frustrating to see others that ordered later. The most frustrating is seing those 23s sitting on a dealers lot waiting to be picked for 20k ADM while I’m waiting for mine. That pisses me off a lot more. It will come. Eventually.

sorry to hear that! I contacted the am truck information center. and they told me that a specialist will look into this and will escalate it. Not even a week later I got the update that it is scheduled and someone will contact me the whole way through. that is weird. It might be also that i didn't add any of the fancy stuff to it. Just a plain TRX. But good luck on what ever vehicle you get next. Maybe the supercharge Cadillac's!

Sorry to hear you threw in the towel on waiting. I understand your frustration with the build process (non process really) as I felt the same way when I waited for mine to be built last year. The downside is there really isn't anything else that compares to the TRX if you want a 700hp factory pick up truck so that kept me from bailing out. Enduring the frustration turned out to be worth it for me. Hope you have better luck with your next choice.

Your all overthinking it like there is some Ram timeline to go by. 6 to 7 months. Period. Be glad your not the guy that waited literally over 365 days to get his 22 and 23 models were already being built. Aug 28 order, Dec 15 scheluded, Jan 18 build, waiting inspection....and I'm still a month away or more.

I first did an email here https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/ram/emailpage.html and then someone contacted me from there. Then while i was talking with them they transferred me to a specialist.
