One week of ownership and 1000 miles later

Thought I would share my first week of owner ship with my TRX. So far has been amazing and has blown the doors off the 2 1st gen raptors I had and 3 2nd gen raptors . Long story why I had three 2nd gen raptors. The trx just seems like the lambo of off-road trucks .
Pros:
•Thing is a effen monster
•Everybody is amazed when they see it including raptor owners .
•interior fit /finish is amazing with the trim 2 pack and red accent package . Best truck interior I have ever been in .
•feel like your king of the road

cons
1. Gas mileage but hey we all knew what we are getting into before we bought it lol getting around 290 miles out of a tank at 9-10mpg (will be buying a gen 3 raptor super cab with a eco boost for daily driving)
2.slight ticking noise I’m now experiencing like a few others , will have my guy who does my pro touring stuff on my oldies look it over before going into a dealer to give me tips on how to approach the service rep (also cut them resonators out ha)
3.the stock tonneau cover, crap quality but will be changing it anyways

so all in all I’m so damn happy for you guys that are Recieving soon or stuck in D status land . You guys will not regret the purchase ! Happy TRX’ing

Forsure! If I’m willing to bet it has to be the exhaust touching metal on metal somewhere or the super charger pulley system and being cold . My Ford lighting was the worst starting it up during In wintertime in a non heated garage , also my procharged c6 vett I used to have . Will

Yes sir! He’s recently did some work on my 67 Camaro and have nothing but good things to say about him ! So I know he will do a great job getting the resonator pipes cut and pipe welded in .

Have you tried to launch it yet?

not yet lol , I’ll let her break in fully before a launch or for first service in case something goes haywire then dealer blames it on Launch lol . I don’t trust dealers very much
