Greetings all, does anyone know the oil filter number the truck takes. Picking the truck up today and want to grab one for the first oil change! Thanks in advance.

Interested, would assume same as hellokitty’s have, maybe more capacity though.

I have the same question can't seem to find the filter number easily... maybe someone who has done the first change will respond to us.

According to service notes 4884899AC

MO-899 (Mopar) I believe

MO-041 is the SRT version of that filter. I believe it has an anti drain back valve

The hellcat forum has several threads about both filters. The mopar one is a good filter, the SRT one is a little better.

You can use a Fram 10060 series filter or a Fram HP18 High Performance filter.

Yes, Thanks for the help...Everyone. My TRX is still running great with no leaks or loose bolts so far but I only have a few hundred miles on her.

I just did a search and this came up...Engine Oil Filter - Mopar (4892339AB)

I know that the TRX factory oil filter is the MO-899 but I'll have some left over MO-339 (4892339AB) filters when I trade in my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. I wonder if I could use this filter on the TRX? I did a search and I do see that the TRX is listed as one of the vehicles that could use the MO-339. However, the MO-339 is much smaller in size than the MO-899. Thought ?

I’d use the designated filter. Last thing you need is some mechanical gremlin to show up and FCA points to your “incorrect” filter

Can anyone confirm that the MO-041 woks 100% with our trucks? About to do my first oil change...

The factory Mopar filter is MO-899, but I have read that the MO-041 is a superior filter designed for the SRT Viper, but otherwises identical in terms of size and thread. You should be go to go. Don't get a hernia taking off the dune guard!

Thanks guys! Going with 041.
Poke around under there while you are changing the oil. Check all the gearboxes. They will probably be a little low. Also, OkieTRX80 put out an excellent list of technical bulletins to review under NightMares post "Ram finally put out a TSB". Good luck
