I am looking into adding an oil catch can as it seems to be a very popular add-on and I understand the basic premise of it. I won't be doing any engine mods to the truck anytime soon, I don't want to void my warranty and I prefer to have clean OEM-looking accessories. What are your thoughts on them? I am mostly looking for why you went with a certain brand and maybe some pictures of the install. As always I appreciate all the help and insight.

Has anyone had any experience with this one?

I have the “cheap” UPR that mounts to the engine and I’m very happy with it.

It’s a bit of a reach especially if you’re short and the one in that link would be easier. I was just trying to avoid long hoses as they seem to be good for making water more than anything in cold climates.

Anyway. As far as quality, the UPR stuff is really nice and well engineered. Some of the other ones I’ve seen look fancy on the outside but have nothing but a Chore Boy and a screen on the inside.

Using the UPR breather/oil separator. On the expensive side but I wanted the benefit of the breather too.
