Sim racing. Because you can't road race all year in the NW. Plus its waaay cheaper and I have met alot of good friends doing it.

I have tried it on one of the big machines. I just end up wrecking all over lol

Nice. I have a foxpro and shoot all predators on sight on my property. It’s amazing the difference it makes. Shot 4 foxes last winter. Suddenly had giant coveys of quail when they were a rare sight previously.

killed a blackbear that turned my deer feeder into a pretzel in the fall.

theres a really big male cougar that comes through on its patrol. I’m just waiting to catch it slipping

Off-roading is actually a passion of mine, and recently, i was able to integrate this and hunting into one. 10k acre lease.

LOVE my Foxpro. If nothing else going on, I can throw it out on the back lawn, hit some crow calls, next thing I know there are at least 100 circling over my house, then I'll blast as many as I can with the Benelli before the rest take off. Then I'll take the crows I shot and put them in box traps for the vermin on my property.

Oh the cycle of life. My crows are too well educated as soon as they see me carrying any long gun they immediately retreat to 400 yards.

I did kill a wiley Racoon that kept raiding my cat food in an outbuilding. I put a bowl of catfood outside my bedroom door and slept like a sniper proned out across my bed with a 10-22. Woke up to hear something eating the cat food. Shot it through my screen in the head

Though I live in the city w/ a white collar job I'm a country boy in many ways. Hobbies:

Firearms

Overland camping - went out this past weekend in some rough snowy weather. Slid off a creek bridge and got stuck (didn't see the bridge as creek was covered in ice and snow - drivers side front wheel went over into the creek and axle on the bridge). Jacked up the truck and made a bridge out of firewood.

Motorcycles _ Harley Davidson Road Glide that has been tricked out. Ducati 1100 Sport Pro Scrambler with a Termi exhaust

Wrenching (though I'm an amateur)

Travel - Pre Covid travelled quite a bit. Barcelona, the Vatican, Alaska, London, Paris, yada yada yada

Video Games - Overwatch player, MS Flight Simulator, CoD, Baldurs Gate, etc. Easier to score cocaine than a PS5 though which is grating.

I like to restore old Honda mini bikes.
I've done 4 so far. One 1970 CT70 and Three Z50 bikes. (1969, 1970 & 1974)
They are a blast to take to car shows....Both young and old like them......Old guys like me had them as kids!

Flyfishing
Skiing
Mountain Biking
Sporting events, live music and travel

These 3 hobbies make a TRX seem reasonably priced. I get worse stares from my wife coming out of a fly shop with a $200 receipt and a tiny plastic container of flies than I did when I said I was ordering a $90k truck.

I was once fishing dry flies near mammoth. Stuffed a full box of dry flies down the front of my waders. Leaned over to grab a fish. $500 worth of flies down the river

Flying
skiing
hunting/shooting
bourbon
wine
eating meat
golf
weightlifting and protein shakes
motorcycles (though with 2 small kids I haven’t ridden in a while)
lately, browsing the forum. Probably need to drop some screen time...

My wife says I have entirely too many hobbies/collection habits.

I'm into...

Guns and all that goes with
Knives & amateur knife making
Explosives
Watches
Drones
Video & Photography/editing
Boats and fishing
Gaming
3d printing
Cooking/bbq
Collecting high end cutting boards
Offroading

There's more I'm sure but that shit keeps me plenty busy.

Haha, I haven't done that one yet, but have watched a few nets sail away.

Hear that? It’s the sound of being added to the terror watchlist.
