Hello,

CONGRATS on your interest in the TRX!!

My name is Travis Hallman and my dealership is Huffines CDJR Plano. We're helping people place orders for the new TRX w/o any markup. Your price would be MSRP + taxes + license plate + doc fee ($150). We have no additional markup, no addendum, and no other deceptive upcharge techniques. I want to be your car dealer. My contact information is below.

Please contact me with a list of the equipment you want in the TRX and the color. Be prepared to make a $500 deposit. The deposit is refundable or you can use it toward the payment of the truck. We have good faith that if we hold our word then you will do the same.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF TEXAS:

You are invited to let us help you order/own the TRX if you are out of state. You will be required to secure your own titling, licensing, and taxes. We will not be able to help you. So, your price will be MSRP + fees ($208) + Doc fee ($150). You are welcome to pay the entire balance (on the day of arrival) with cash, personal check (we'll release TRX after check is cleared), swiping an American Express card, direct deposit (we'll release TRX after deposit is cleared), or bring your own financing. We will be unable to secure the financing on your behalf.

Your TRX (non-launch edition) would arrive in the 1st quarter of 2021.

As I told a forum administrator, Huffines CDJR Plano is the place I got mine and Travis (sales) & Zach (director) were great during my ordering process. No premiums, not even on the Launch Edition I ordered. Give him a call and you will see how easy he can make the transaction for your TRX purchase.

If you know, share with group how dealer allocation worked with the TRX Roll out and how it will work going forward. Thanks.

Thanks for asking!

It would be impossible for me to answer for other dealership regarding allocation and how it will work going forward. My experience only allows for me to elaborate on the process at my dealership.

Our allocations have been used. We're currently accepting (refundable) $500 deposits to secure a place in line for customer order TRX Trucks. Our regional representative is telling us the customers in line (now) will receive their TRX Truck in the first quarter of 2021.

I hope this helps!!

This forum has proven to be a very effective way to market myself and the opportunity to buy the TRX at MSRP (w/o dealer markup)! This forum has helped me secure 3 additional customer orders! THANK YOU!

It would be my pleasure to help anybody else sign up for a TRX at MSRP. My contact information is below.

Glad to see you have earned other peeps from the Ram-TRX forums business. As you get more sales from this forum just make sure that each and every buyer gets the same professional service I received. Travis, Keep up the good work....

Travis, not that I am excited or anything but I already ordered up my plates for the new whip.

I meant how FCA is allicating build priority. Like the 2015 Hellcat, a dealer took 100s orders, but FCA allocated him 0 builds. People who placed a deposit never got a 2015. Wondering if you have any insight. Thank you again!
I’d be curious about this as well.

Here’s a question: if you don’t have any allocations, can you still put a sold order in and get a VON? Another way: if a dealer was able to successfully put an order in Dealer Connect and get a VON, must they have had an allocation?

I ordered a non-LE @ MSRP on 9/1 from my dealer in Massachusetts. Dealer placed the order and I received a VON the next day. I checked on the order status last week and was told by the GM that he was informed "no TRX allocations for any New England dealers have been granted yet". As far as I know, my order has not been dropped and is still active. They are a solid dealer and I have bought vehicles from them for years, so I have no reason to believe they are BSing me in any way. Anyone from NE experienced the same, or maybe some different information regarding NE allocations?...

Awesome having all this information from the forum. If an order was placed, has a scheduling priority of “1-sold order” and was assigned a VON from the moment the dealer placed the order, would that mean they had original allocations remaining? As of last week a VIN had not been assigned. The order was placed on 9/14. Thanks!!

9/14 is too soon to get your VIN. I would say first week of Oct.

Thanks sportyJames!! Figured it was to soon for a VIN, just hoping the dealer wasn’t blowing smoke when they said they had allocations. I’m guessing they did as I received a VON.

Nice work on getting your wife's approval on the LE in one night. Took me three weeks!! Lol

I ended up getting Billet. My dealership had someone already setup for their only LE. I spoke too soon.
But, thank you, it wasn't easy convincing her.

I do not think so. The priority designation is made by the dealer. FCA has no role in it. A dealer without allocation can give you a VON and set you as 1 Priority, but unfortunately it does not mean anything until FCA picks up the dealer's order. This is what happened with the 2015 Hellcat. Everyone got a VON, but some never got a 2015 because FCA did not pick up the order. The order should get picked up soon however, the demand for the TRX is not like it was for the Hellcat.

I see, thanks for the information! Hopefully I’ll have a VIN in the next 2-3 weeks.
