It’s dark and raining. So pics tomorrow. Observations. I am 6’4 and the height of the truck is notable as well as incredible to drive at that elevation. The visibility is insanely good all around 360 degrees. You feel the road when you drive. I was fearful that I wouldn’t. And the suspension and steering is perfect. Went off road today and sailed over stuff that would usually pound my body. Steering is nice and tight with great control and stability without being jumpy. Steering wheel has great thickness and feels really substantial underhand. Detailing inside the car pops much more than expected or captured in photos. Center tech console vastly better than any luxury car I have had. Responsive, intuitive and no lags. Wheels and tires really pop. Aggressive and sophisticated. Of huge note is how the flaring in back and air intake in the front pop much more in person than in photos or videos. Proportionality of this truck is also notable. As for the engine. Where do I start. It will send your head smashing into the back of the seat if you really hit it. You feel zero lag as the supercharger goes to work, generating Max power from the first moment. Torque incredible. The truck also handles well on windy suburban narrow canyon roads—I was tempted to punch it then but you are driving a beast. I have noticed that the extra width and massive tires leaves this truck so incredible well balanced at massive speeds that I have been tempted to go nuts. But then again it’s LA’s first rain of the season and the roads are slick so waiting it out before pushing to the max. On a straightaway, as I have been flooring it, I get going so fast that I am almost petrified of myself until I realize that the car is so stable that even in the rain those tires stick to the road like glue. More tomorrow.
