New Lunar Owner - Suspension Question

Thanks for ther pics. I don't think mine are Geiser. I took some better pics. I just can't figure out why it is levelled. I have one pic I took that has a red arrow below, could that be the spacer or is that normal?

My springs have a label taped on them with a Mopar part number.

I mean... It's possible they accidentally sent a few out leveled right? :ROFLMAO:

I still don’t understand the obsession with leveling the truck all of a few inches when it’s so tough to notice.

All the cool kids are doing it!
I actually did springs because I tow and carry weight in the back for offroad. The stock rear sagged so bad. The geisers do so much better for me. Oh and looks good too!

Personally i think it’s really easy to notice and looks a lot better leveled plus more ground clearance never hurts. Maybe a generational difference

That leads me into my next question -

Well, this thread is to find out what is under my truck, not a debate on why people level. I am sure there are a ton of threads for that debate

Does anyone with a stock Lunar have their stock measurements? It is odd to me that mine is stock and levelled. I would like to know what is going on underneath so I can make sure it is done right and/or go in a different direction.

I would like to do the Eibach in all 4 corners but I don't want the rear to go any higher, so if it comes stock at this level, then I may just need to do the 1.6 Eibach fronts

I just went out and measured mine and it’s 40 on the driver side and just around 39 3/4 on the passenger side. Stock lunar w/around 41-42 psi if that helps.

41 1/2 and 41 1/4 on the rear

I am 41 3/4 high in the front and 42 high in the rear with stock wheels and tires. This is measured from the ground to the bottom of the fender flare. I am basically 25" from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the flare.

So to confirm, yours is stock and you are 41 1/2 front and 41 3/4 rear or are you 40 front??

I will measure mine after work just got the eibach front and rear springs put in my lunar (they are powder coated that’s why they are blue)

Did you ever measure? This is the set up I would like to do as long as it doesnt jack me up much higher than I am now

40 and 39 3/4 front
41 1/2 and 41 1/4 rear
Yes completely stock suspension wise.

So, it sounds like I am stock in the rear, and something is going on in the front because I am almost 2 inches higher in the front than yours. I guess the hunt continues LOL

I was at 32 psi I think

Are all sides the same measurement? Any factory tags on the springs?

I believe there are 3 different spring part numbers for the front and 9 for the rear spring. Example: Last two digits on the rear spring tag range from 81 - 89 (89 being the stiffest and will give you aprox 1/2" height vs the 81.

With '21 and some '22s there were trucks that had a lean so the fix would be to find your spring numbers and then match it with the next "higher" spring number to even it out depending on the height difference.

With that said I don't think you will get the same stock height measurements due to this.

My '22 looks lower than most and its almost level (I'm actually considering adding a 3/4" rear lift as I like a little more rake and I do put a few hundred lbs in the back daily
RF: 39 1/4"
LF: 39 3/4"
RR: 40 1/2"
LR: 41"

I can definitely see spacers in the front from the pictures you posted. If you did not have a spacer then the topmost coil of the spring would be in the strut housing and not easily visible.

What is outlined in red is your preload spacer. What is outlined in blue is a factory part.

Thanks, that is what it looks like ot me as well. I assume adding a spacer is the least expensive way to level the truck? If that is the case, can I just order the eibach 1.6 fronts only and have them remove the spacer and put in the eibachs and I am good to go?

Is there an eibacch option to replace the rear but to not affect the height?
