Got a left turn signal out message and the blinker has that accelerated sound but when I look the blinker on the headlight and side mirror are both working normally but the sound is accelerated and message says it is out.

It happened a month or so ago and then went away. Recently it is back and not going away. Bad sensor? Anyone else have this issue?

You mentioned the blinker on the headlight and mirror. Stupid questions first... did you check the rear tail light blinker?

I have had that issue 3 times now in the 6 months I have owned mine. 2023. Only after using headlights in the evening. Had it back to back about 2 months ago. Checked and reseated all fuses and relays. Did not happen again till about a week ago. By the time I got home, everything was working again. Definitely annoying when it happens but not at a point yet where I can take it to the dealer to diagnose …

Yes, I checked the rear as well. It does say left front but I was like let me just look at both of them. Neither front nor rear were blinking accelerated. Just the inside.
Ironically it has only happened at night as well now that you mentioned it. So your dealer just checked the fuses & relays ?

Sometimes it’ll get a hiccup and do that at the plant and if you leave the blinker on for a bit it should reset itself. Not always 100% but 99

Hey Viperjim so just leave the blinker on may reset it? I thought turning the truck off would reset it but it hasn’t reset.

No usually when that happened during testing if you leave it in for 15-20 seconds it’ll reset itself. Maybe up to 30 but 99% it resets. If not may have a fault that needs to be cleared. Check the fault messages on your evic. Or go to autozone if you don’t own your own drb and reset the faults and mark down what they are before you clear them that way you have a record of reoccurring faults if problems persist.

Is it a standard OBd connection? Or anyone you recommend specific?

I got in the truck turned it on and the alert was still there. I left it blinking for about 20 seconds as you said and it reset itself. Thank you for that heads up. Still would love to know why it happens

Not sure if it’s the led cycle or? But it hapoend periodically. But glad it reset itself.

This happened to me just like this after the latest uconnect update. It slowly became more intermittent and now it refuses to work. I’ve been fighting with ram and the dealers to try to get it fixed (I’m out of warranty) but they make it so difficult.

I don’t know what to say on that as I connect isn’t connected at the plant in plant mode. Usually happened if headlight or taillight was disconnected and ignition cycled it would cause the fault but that’s how we reset it.

So do you think that it could just be a loose connection? Also is anyone else having issues with the right side. Seems like anything I look up seems to be the left side blinker always.

I meant to say u connect but spell check put I connect.
The left turn signal is the stalk not returning to center after left turn is complete.
If it still says it in the message center there should be a fault.
I know on the ds when they went to led lights there was 15 leds on the taillight and headlight and if 1 led was out it created a fault. So I wonder if there is a led out on the assembly. Just a thought.

Just FYI gents, we have a related issue here: https://www.ram-trx.com/threads/2023-left-turn-signal-will-not-reset.17880/page-6

I also have a 2023, but the left signal doesn't reset to clear. I had this error you're mentioning here appear only once but I manually reset the stalk to centered position. I leave auto high beams on to alleviate the problem, temporarily but as you can see the from the thread, the new part can solve a lot of these issues.

It’s weird though as I try doing this at the plant and can’t get them to do it.

I try to replicate what the forum talks about but it works as it should here. Why it does that I do not know.

It seems like it affects some percentage of us especially 2023 builds, I know that mine was delivered in July of this year

My 21 recently started getting this message saying front turn signal out with dash arrow blinking fast. Go outside and everything is working properly. I've left it blinking for a few mins while looking for an issue and it clears itself. Someone said they've seen a loose ground on back of headlight cause this.
