Launch Edition Below MSRP?

I went to the Clay Cooley site and they are showing 2 TRX discounted 7900-8400. Maybe click bait who knows. They are like 2 hours from me though.

Hello there, sorry if has been asked before.

I was wondering if deals like below are true or just dealer bait?
Some of these I can see the window sticker, but others VIN appears to be new/none existent.

When I’ve been seeing this on autotrader my assumption is they’re sold and they are priced than strangely on purpose. The only cars I’ve been calling on when I see them come up or the ones with actual pictures. And then I get dealerships like the one in Hemet California that want $40,000 over sticker for a L2 truck.

The search continues.

It’s all BS, I called a shit ton of dealers looking for a LE. A lot had them listed bellow MSRP, but they are not at all. Most are units already sold from preorders. Keep looking, they are out there at MSRP, just have to hunt.

Check this out just posted on another thread....

It will be very hard to get a discount on any TRX right now. If you wait until the 22 model year it will be easier.

I went back to the Clay Cooley site. It shows a red TRX MSRP 89,820 discounted to 82,893. When you click on it price goes up to 110,815. crooks
Yeah, and the LE is at $116K now, up from $88K, even MSRP is too much, I would rather burn the money.

Its usually entered into the dealers site as a "1500" so the computer (if the dealer has it set up to do this) will basically subtract all eligible rebates to make it look like the lowest online price to get people to call. So its probably subtracting 1500 rebates from it that don't apply to the TRX.

That makes sense.

I bought my TRX last weekend at Tomball Dodge and had a similar situation.
Their website showed the LE with a 10% discount. I grab the family and headed there.
Took one look at the vehicle and said I’ll buy it.
They brought the paperwork over at $116,680 which was $20k over msrp.
I about fell out of my chair. Thank goodness I took pictures of the website before I left. By time I got to the dealership they had already removed the truck.
They worked it out with me and I still drove home with the truck without paying the $20k, but I didn’t get the 10% discount either.
They said it was a mistake. Their website was configured to list all 1500’s at a 10% discount but they weren’t supposed to load TRX trucks on their site.

Make sure the Viper Exchange (Tomball Dodge exclusive brands) does your services.
