I got my TRX last month. I have not used the launch button yet. Can someone tell me how to use it in very simple terms? I want to be sure that I am safe.
Thanks so much for this. Do I floor the gas or just go halfway?Launch Control won't be available when you press the button(will show "launch feature not available" message on dash) until you hit 500 miles.
After the 500 mile mark and you are at a safe location without traffic you can then attempt to use it. Once you press the button it will display a few steps in order to activate it. 1- Truck must be in Drive; 2- Truck must be at level. It you are at an incline the prompt will remain in red and not advance you to the next step until you get level or get close to it; 3- Engage brakes. Once you get that message you will press the brake pedal(psi meter will pop on dash) until it turns green and the next message is shown; 4- Release brakes and step on gas. In lame terms, let it take off and make you 😃.
Sounds more complicated than it really is, however the first launch is very fun.
Step on the brake and put pressure. Step on the gas full throttle ( keep brake and gas at the same time, you’re gonna hear the engine make a different sound) release the brakes and have fun. Thanks so much for this. Do I floor the gas or just go halfway?
You floor it and it will hold at the RPM you have set. Thanks so much for this. Do I floor the gas or just go halfway?
what was the 0-60 time you got? I have heard that baja will give you stunning resultsStep on the brake and put pressure. Step on the gas full throttle ( keep brake and gas at the same time, you’re gonna hear the engine make a different sound) release the brakes and have fun.
Beat results that I got was on Baja mode and launch at 1500 rpm

Is it stock?3.5 was my best 0-60
YesIs it stock?
I don’t feel like I need to mention that or Dusterhoff anymore lolI’ll say it so @AZDinoPwr doesn't have to. The built-in timers are a joke (if that’s what you’re going off of).
Consider getting a Dragy. They are inexpensive and provide real, super accurate data you can record and track on your phone.
Impressive good job 👍
Has anyone tried locking their axel to try and get better track?Typical to have some wheel spin in most conditions. That’s usually what throws the performance timers off, FWIW. Not to go down that road again…
